Back in the early 1980's we took a slice of log from the front yard and made this Advent wreath. For 30 years Advent has been our most meaningful tradition. How like our loving GOD to place us next to precious neighbors in Georgia who come over each Sunday to read scripture and light the candles with us. It warms our hearts to have them join us in celebrating the first coming of JESUS and our hope for His return.
As Isaiah the Prophet foretold:
"For a child is born to us,
a son is given to us.
The government will rest on His shoulders.
And He will be called:
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
His government and its peace
will never end."
Isaiah 9:6
Hallelujah! Christ the Savior has come and is coming again!
