Precious One, where is your quiet place?
Where do you go mentally or physically to re-charge?
Do you make a habit of seeking a peaceful surrounding
or state of mind in order to refresh?
I don’t know about you, but I struggle with finding BALANCE.

I don’t know about you, but I struggle with finding BALANCE.
For me, “balance” has often been elusive
because I would rather be charging ahead

trying to make a difference ~
than reflecting and meditating.

Oh, how I need to learn to be a Mary and sit at the Master’s feet!
You see I would rather write about passion and what drives each of
us to use the talents and gifts we’ve been given than
focus on the quieter aspects of faith and prayer…
But I am learning!
God has forced me into a quiet space because
of health issues.
He is calling me to seek His face,
And I can only imagine the blessings that await.
If, like me, you find yourself too often harried,
may you heed Christ’s call to stop and

spend time with HIM.

Amelia Island in north Florida.
My escape valve is the beach.
What's yours?
Peace to you this weekend.

Hey Honey,
ReplyDeleteYou have such a great way with words! Your words should be an encouragement to many to consider that a health issue, or detour in the journey may just be the Lord saying, "I want to spend time with you, slow down, come, sit up here on my lap, talk to me." Love, Tone
Hi Jess,
ReplyDeleteLovely post. My quiet place can just be a drive on a pretty day...and it doesn't really even have to be pretty.
That first picture just whisks me away!!
Praying for your needs, sweetie.
Love and hugs,
Becky
Thank you!!! You have a great day to!

Balance is so important, and something that I think we all struggle finding. Thank you for your insight.
