For HE is faithful to restore our broken places
and shower those who love Him
with kindness.
This beautiful orchid was given to me a year ago by my staff at the pregnancy center when I left Florida .
I so enjoyed its flowers, tending to it faithfully. When the last bloom fell off, I gave it to a friend much more adept at plants than I. She nurtured it carefully and here it is producing beauty in the new season!
Because I was raised by an alcoholic mother and an absent father, the memories I'm drudging up are laden with emotional pain. Yet, I am compelled to write my story because of what GOD has done in my heart. I need to share how HE enabled me to continue to love and serve those who acted unlovely. My story is one of Grace triumphing over resentment and unconditional love overtaking jealousy.
The precious "take away value" for me, the author, is to see how GOD has met all of my needs.
Through the gift of a loving husband, He truly has restored the years my heart was broken.
Praise to our wonderfully Kind and Loving GOD!

ReplyDeleteI have gone thru lots of internal healing and am in process once again. God is so amazing and I really believe we are experiencing in these last 6 or more years God's returning unto us the days that the locust had stolen, and we praise His name!
